unfortunatly a 1000pt limit means that i would not be able to call on the support of the Adeptus Titanicus,

well a challenge indeed and seeing as the Blood angels have returned to the battlefield reinvigorated and ready to dispatch the emperors wrath to those that will not follow him.......

A 1000 points seems a little light to me !!!!!(dont know how many points you have of nids)

but seeing as you have mortally offended both the Blood Angels and Doom Eagles might it not be a idea to try taking on the forces of both armies (thinking 1500-2000 points would be a good starting place) . If you can amass such points from the nid horde , then the combined space marine army would comply with the army organisation but will of course include 2 hq units

what is that strange noise , that scrapping /clucking is it the hive tyrannt quivering with fright at the thought of taking on 2 nobles chapters of the emperors finest .

The reason for the 1000pt limit is because I don't have that much more stuff painted. I also didn't want a big game, because it was meant to be a 'quicky', but how about 1250pts - or are the Angels scared to go out by themselves??

do the nids cower before the combined imperial might of the blood angels and doom eagles .

if you are sure you can not assemble a big enough force then we could play 2 seperate games , i'd opt for the 1250 points (i already have a list completed ) and mike could always use some of my miniatures if he wants to make points up .

as for actually playing the game it will have to be a weekend afternoon (~at least for the next 3 weeks not off on a weekend until then)

Well we could get a game in the week if you like - especially with a smaller point total. Alas Mike has already bottled it, so it is just you defending the honour of the Imperium. Of course there is a large Necron force as well...
