Lord Of The Rings Trilogy - BluRay

My lovely wife bought me this set on Saturday. Now bearing in mind these are the theatrical release versions of the movies, they look absolutely amazing on bluray. I've watched most of fellowship but I gather the other two look even better. A good excuse to rewatch the films as well.

Might have to borrow these off you at some point if that's ok so that I can compare these against my DVD versions?? I was thinking that I might hold-off from purchasing the theatrical films for the moment just to see if they get round to releasing the extended versions on Blu Ray as well, in which case I'll be wasting no time getting those for my collection instead!!!

Thing is, I have the extended versions of the DVDs. Having the blurays of the theatrical versions means that you get all of the cool iconic scenes in clarity vision but I don't see the need to rebuy the extended versions as well. You're welcome to borrow, of course.

Just to clarify, there are no blu ray versions of the extended cuts. The blu ray releases are of the thatrical release, and i'm very happy with that.
