I didn't want to post a big review of the movie but i've posted a few words on the subject here.

I'm hoping to catch it again this coming Saturday and look forward to enjoying it again.

A superb film that fully deserves all the praise its earned. I believe that JJ Abrams has done to Star Trek what RTD has done for Doctor Who, by injecting life into a dying brand-name and making it cool again to be a fan. Im hoping to see it again tomorrow night, and am chomping at the bit to see more adventures from the new (or should that be old) Enterprise crew. Definitely my favourite installment of the Star Trek film series, 10 out of 10. Very Happy

i can heartily agree , i enjoyed the film and have to say that as a platform to reinvigorate the franchise it succeeds on all levels , of people i know who have scene it that have all sung its praises .
for my part i particularly enjoyed the humour(without being cringe worthy) and and how the actors managed to portray the essence of the characters for the original series .
i am hoping to take hayden at some point to see it again .
