Savage Worlds Star Trek

Hey folks

I'm thinking about converting another old FASA Star Trek scenario to run with Savage Worlds, much like I did with The Vanished a couple of years back. Anyone actually interested?

We can use the crew of the USS Hermes again or create new ones if preferred. Let me know.

Ahh. A challenge To be clear, this version of Savage Star Trek is my own home-brew so any shortcomings in the play experience are likely to be mine, rather than Savage Worlds'. I'll be happy for you to play, Neil.

I'm currently spending a few days revising my Savage Worlds conversion rules to reflect any changes in the new SW Deluxe Rules. Then i'll write the conversions I need for the scenario and then worry about a date and time. I'll send a message out in a few weeks so we can fix when we'll play it. In the meantime, i'll send you the player briefing this evening.

I've resisted buying the new Deluxe pdf, so it will be good to play using it to see the differences. Everything I've heard so far has been good.

Well, I had some credit and pay pal cash sitting around otherwise I would have waited for the hardback. I've printed out a copy for reference but there aren't any massive changes as of yet. Some minor tweaking and a few rules revisions and clarifications.

Ok, a quick update. Have done some of the conversion work on the scenario and this goes on. Real life interfering a bit but will keep going.

Another update. Still tweaking conversion notes for the scenario itself, but this game is definitely still going to happen at some point in the near future.
