It's official. Gene Hunt IS god!

That was a superb final episode, Im really going to miss this series - welcome done BBC.

It will be interesting to now go back and rewatch Life on Mars with the benefit of hindsight as the end to Ashes to Ashes puts a fresh spin on Sam's whole predicament, and all those end of episode trips to the Railway Arms. I was also just thinking that the 'Test Card Girl', DCI Frank Morgan (the guy who wanted Sam to investigate Gean Hunt) and DCI Jim Keats are probably all one and the same 'entity' too.

Yeah, we're talking about buying the box sets and watching the series again. I've enjoyed Gene Hunt and I love the fact that he's been established as this mythic character. Good job by all concerned.

I recently bought the 'Life on Mars' boxsets (in blu-ray format) from Amazon which were only £10 each!!
