Wings of war

Post by Mykilus on 16th May 2010, 07:07

Some people have expressed an interest in doing a large scale wings of war game,

For those of you who don`t know, the game recreates aireal dogfights during both world wars, The game is card based and easy to learn. A game with a couple of planes can be played in under an hour. You can download the compleate rules as a pdf, hear,

ftp://ftp.nexusgames.com/download/WoWMini-Rulebook_EN_web.pdf

What i am proposeing depending on the number of players is game set during ww1. I have 12 aircraft mini`s and plan to have 2 teams of 3, each with 2 aircraft (six aside) Both sides will have an objective so the game will not be just a straight dogfight.

If you are interested let me know.

Can't speak for the time, but my place (well garage) is normally available and has 6'x4' table space.

Anything happening with this? At the moment the garage is out of bounds for game (and moving for that matter) but this should be resolved in the next week or so.

Mike, after my trip to Goodwood revival yesterday, and seeing real Hurricanes and Spitfires close up, and doing their thing in the air, i'm keen to have a go at the WW2 version of Wings Of War. What can you tell me?

Hi Steve,
I can certanly supply you with a fix of WW2 dogfight action, with a bit of fiddleing and a little bit of painting i can field 4 spitfires and 4 Meshasmits and for that truely authentic feel i might also bring a couple of bottles of spitfire beer that is downed all over kent, just like the german airforce.....
So if others are interested, maybe can run a bigger game.
