Dream games?

Post by Renny on 10th January 2009, 00:19

So what we would we like to play RPG wise this coming year?

For myself, i'm running FASA Star Trek in April and would expect to have a crack at the new Dr Who rpg when it launches in the spring. Looking forward to CoC from Digger also. Anyone else have plans for what they'd like to see in the coming 12 months?

Play or run?

I quite fancy doing a bit of GMing this year, but... Anyway I have a hankering to run Soloman Kane and/or Slipstream. And of course there is my ever present dream of THE big Car Wars game and organising a season of Formula D.

The urge to do more Battlestar will shortly be on me again,
But apart from that and if there is interest i would like to run some kind of Wings of War campaign. But would need a minimum of 4 players for that.
Also along with Formular D witch i would be interested in their is of course 40K.
As games i would like to play, gets down on bended knee, Nescercy Evil, pleeeeease Steve.

Well both hopefully. All of the above sound like fun, although i'd probably lean more towards Slipstream than Kane.

I'd be keen on another BSG game, may be interested in playing a bit of Wings Of War. I may be convinced to run more Necessary Evil at some point.

Well I hope to be running the following this year, at some stage:

1. CoC
2. AD&D
3. Traveller
4. Firefly

Can't promise when as I am still writing some of the stuff due to the time off because of illness - So watch this space.

As for what I would like to play, well call me old fashioned, but original D&D would be nice! Smile

Kind Regards

My current preferences will be to resume playing Digger's AD&D campaign, and am also really looking forward to partipating in his forthcoming CoC scenario next month. Given a chance I wouldnt mind trying out that postponed game of James Bond that Kevin was going to run last year. And most of all, (and perhaps unsurprisingly) I am really looking forward to the new Doctor Who RPG which I would like to play and GM at some point this year!
