Hey all

There's a nifty Dr Who miniatures game available on the web. You can download the 2nd edition rules for free as a pdf. There is also a starter version called "Battle For Canary Wharf" which has a cut down version of the ruleset along with some neat cardboard figures of the Doctor, Rose, Daleks , Torchwood troops and so on. These are all done by Scarecrow who set up the Star Trek mini maker.

Yes I've seen the earlier edition, its pretty good. There are also a company producing pretty much every Dr Who figures you could possibly want - though I can't remember their name of the top of my head. Trouble is they are faarrking expensive. Which is real shame as it would have been great to do a UNIT vs Yeti Savage Showdown game.

No reason you can't go cardboard. Scarecrow has done Yeti and unit troops, I believe

Reh-heh-early!

Are these the slightly cartoony Dr Who figs I already have or are you talking about new one?

Inquiring minds want to know.

The ones in the Battle For Canary Wharf are still slightly cartoony. That wouldn't necessarily put me off, though.
