Charity Breakfast This Saturday

St Barnabas Church in Pound Hill is holding a community day this Saturday coming. The church is on Worth Road by Pound Hill shops. As part of this event, 1st Pound Hill Brownies (including Maddie) are serving breakfast from 9am - 10am in Barnies Cafe which is at the front of the church. They will be serving sausage and bacon sandwiches and the like with all proceeds going to charity. Caroline and I are intending to drop Maddie off and then lounge around drinking tea and no doubt having some breakfast and reading the paper until she finishes at 10am. If any of you would like to come over and join us in a cup of tea and a sarnie for a good cause then feel free to drop in. We should be there around 9. The cafe is open until late morning, I believe. Then, as part of the same event Maddie is making her singing debut with the Pound Hill Juniors Choir sometime that same afternoon. Don't know about times yet but i will advise when I have more information. We'll be there to support her, obviously. Anyway, if any of you can make it, we'll look forward to seeing you then.
