Scenario Ideas?

Anyone got any ideas for scenarios they'd like to play out?

For myself, i've always fancied the idea of playing out the battle from Wrath Of Khan, as well as the rescue of Dukat from DS9's Way Of The Warrior.

Sounds good to me - I am up for both, let me know the ships involved and I will draw up the ship sheets and cook the chilli.

The Situation

When the Klingons arrived to negotiate over Ariel 5 (a resource rich planet just inside the Neutral Zone), they did so with their best diplomats, (i.e. a fleet of ships and fully armed disruptor banks). They trapped a group of high ranking Federation diplomats on the surface. A Federation fleet was dispatched and lured most of the Klingon fleet away from Ariel 5. A lone Federation ship then made a run on the planet in an attempt to rescue the diplomats.

Forces

Federation
A heavy Federation ship, either a Constitution or Enterprise class is what i had in mind, though an Excelsior might be more fitting

Klingon
A couple of smaller Klingon ships, either D7`s or a couple of birds of prey.

Special Rules.
The Federation ship must get within 2 hexes of the planet with an unpowered shield facing the planet and then have power to the transporters to rescue the diplomats, the ship then simply has to get off the board.

This will have to be balanced by varying the ships on either side but I put this forward for your consideration..

Thats not what i was thinking,
I just wanted a game that was more than just line them up and shoot them down,
But it is probably a little to closs to the `No win`
