This year...

At the moment I have two games planned for this year as follows;

SQUADRON UK - I propose to run a campaign using this system. I would like to run a set up tabletop encounter on one evening. Any follow up roleplaying to be carried out on the forum until the next tabletop encounter is needed. This would probably mean getting together to play out a battle every six or seven weeks. What I need from you lot is do you want to run with the WW2 setting or do something modern?

STAR WARS_SAGA EDITION - I would like to run the Dawn Of Defiance, rebellion era game. Again, this would involve running the encounters around the table and then using the forum to deal with other stuff. I would also ask that we sit around a table to roll up characters as it is important that you the players understand a bit of the system and what your characters are capable of.

Any thoughts/feedback eagerly awaited.

Given a choice I'm more interested in a modern GH game, but not by much.

I also fancy giving Star Wars a go - a campaign of this would be really good - as long as it really is Star Wars and not Reservoir Dogs... Character wise I will would wait and see what other people want to play.

Ok, one vote for modern SQUK.

Star Wars is more likely to happen first as the whole campaign is ready to go. I agree that I will expect this to be played like Star Wars. Let's face it, none of us have any excuse to not know what that means. As far as characters go, it's Rebellion era so smugglers, bounty hunters, revolutionaries etc but no Jedi.

Oh yeah sign me up for both of those campaigns!!! If we play Squadron UK I would prefer the WW2 setting just for the pulpy fun of unleashing my superhero (The White Knight) against (super-powered?) Ratzi soldiers!!! Definitely up for Star Wars too, - any chance I can resurrect Jak Raven for this one as I've been itching to play him again??

Ok, a vote for WW2 supers. I have no problem with you recreating Jak Raven, Chris.

WW2 has the edge for me, And if Jak Raven is makeing a comeback maybe i`ll dig out my old charecter as well....

To be clear, you will need to create the characters from scratch in Saga edition. That said, no reason why you can't work from your original character and concept in the new rules.
